BROADCAST SERVICES :: DUAL-FEED RECEPTION AT 13° AND 9° EAST

Gain access to one of the most vibrant markets worldwide for satellite TV and radio, with Eutelsat’s dual-feed reception solution for EUTELSAT 9A at 9° East and EUTELSAT HOT BIRD at 13° East.

Direct-to-Home (DTH) TV households can receive TV programmes from both orbital locations using an off-the-shelf dual-feed satellite dish.

Located just four degrees from our EUTELSAT HOT BIRD video neighbourhood at 13 degrees East, 9° East has been developed to support TV and radio broadcasting, enabling new thematic channels, regional/local TV broadcasting and High Definition TV channels to broadcast to an already established audience, via capacity at highly attractive rates.

HOW TO RECEIVE TV CHANNELS FROM 13° EAST AND 9° EAST

ClipSat solution

For consumers with an antenna already pointed to the EUTELSAT HOT BIRD satellites at 13° East, existing LNBs can be equipped for dual-feed reception of EUTELSAT HOT BIRD and EUTELSAT 9A at 9° East using ClipSat.

ClipSat is easy to fit and can be bracket mounted to an existing LNB with a single screw.

How it works:
:: ClipSat is an extension bracket with a 2nd LNB, coaxial cables and DiSEqC switch
:: It clips onto an existing LNB pointed at 13° East
:: Suitable for a wide range of antennas, from 70cm to 90cm
:: Reception quality at 13° East not affected
